Stay in AmaTierra's private suite with your own Jacuzzi tub, enjoy the hiking trails and swimming pool while on the premises. The package includes the following day trips:
 Turubari Tropical Park: Tour this eco-park with aerial tram, nature reserve and butterfly garden with a professional English-speaking guide. Enjoy a "typical" Costa Rican buffet lunch and choose from 3 activities: flying over the canopy "zip line", horseback riding or the extreme "superman zip".
 Beach
Day: Two great choices: Jacó beach for world-class surfing, or Esterillos Oeste with its beautiful sandy beach. In Jacó, experienced surfers will enjoy great surf breaks, and surfing lessons are available for all skill levels. Your other option, Esterillos Oeste, is a little further away, but well worth it. It is one of the most stunning beaches in Costa Rica. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful and the spectacular Scarlet Macaws make their home in the trees overhanging the beach.
Horseback Ride: Two hour rides with fabulous mountain and ocean views; ride through a traditional "finca", see staple agricultural crops, Brahma cows and the green of the rainforest or ride to thermal hot springs or a lovely waterfall close to AmaTierra.

 Carara National Park Jungle Tour: Famous for scarlet macaws, an abundance of bird life, 3 kinds of monkeys, iguanas, colorful frogs, crocodiles and the playful pisote. This tour, a one-hour drive from AmaTierra, will spark your adventurer's spirit.
After the professional park tour with Vic's Tours, (www.vicvictours.com) take a bird watching boat ride on the Tarcoles River through mangroves OR choose Pura Vida Waterfall to end your day.

The Organic Living Package begins at AmaTierra. Relax and renew your energy during your first 3 nights here, nestled on 8 luscious acres in the Costa Rican mountains, 1 hour west of the capital city of San Jose and 1 hour north of the Central Pacific Beaches. Offering yoga for all levels, massage and body treatments, herbal and nutritional counseling from AHG Herbalist and owner Jill Ruttenberg, and (edible!) lessons in the organic greenhouse.
